Custom energy storage engineering
Energy Division designs battery packs and BESS architectures when a standard catalogue product cannot satisfy the electrical, thermal, mechanical, safety or installation constraints of a real project. The work starts from loads, duty cycles, environmental conditions, interfaces and maintenance requirements rather than from a predefined battery model.
Reusable engineering scope
- Battery-pack and BESS architecture
- Thermal management and enclosure integration
- BMS and EMS coordination
- Mechanical integration in containers or mobile systems
- Testing, commissioning and maintainability planning
Applications
Typical contexts include remote electrification, industrial peak management, renewable-energy integration, containerised BESS, mobile energy systems and installations exposed to demanding environmental or logistical conditions.
Project evidence
The Colombia rural-electrification project required a custom 25.6 V / 120 Ah battery configuration because the operating context and logistics could not be addressed reliably with an unsuitable standard product. This capability is presented as an engineering method, not as a universal product claim: every new system must be validated against its own loads, safety requirements and operating environment.
