How can we make well water safe without adding chemical residues?

Test well water before choosing a treatment process. Ozone can support disinfection, but it does not guarantee that all contaminants are removed or that treatment leaves no by-products. Where bromide is present, assess bromate formation. Select filtration and any further treatment from the analysis, control the process and repeat laboratory testing after treatment. Drinking-water suitability requires verified results and applicable local requirements.
